Yes, I can see that even if anything like this ever gets manufactured, there are still a whole lot of potential problems. But, hey, it’s a balmy summer’s evening, I can dream if I want to. Even if it is unlikely that the day when I stop needing choosing to cart around the chargers [...]

The festival may be a local affair, with most events taking place within the suburb of Broomhill, but it is gets bigger year on year, both in terms of the number and quality of events and the amazing amount of money raised for [...]

You may have seen him on the news last week, wearing his trademark beanie hat. He is campaigning to ensure that all young people in the UK learn about what is involved in donating blood and bone marrow and also about organ donation. [...]
Posted by: Lois Lindemann on: March 2nd, 2008 Posted in: Uncategorized Tags for this post: Derbyshire | Plugs and Pleas. Today I made two discoveries. You only have until Friday 29th February Sunday 9th March to submit suitable tales, unless you have writer’s blog, in which case you could wait and buy the book instead (like me).

The real three-legged cat
Welcome! Hi, I'm Lois Lindemann. Welcome to my blog!
This is where I blither on about life, the universe and everything - sometimes even three-legged cats.
I am: a resident of Sheffield (it's been my home town for more than 20 years), a Londoner, a teacher of maths and ICT and a student of French.
I like: cats, Sheffield, walking, doing the pub quiz, maths, cooking, reading, red wine, theatre, weekends in London, cycling, eating out, museums, gardening, going to the cinema, real ale, learning French and spending far too much time online. (My partner, Mr TLC, says this is making me sound like a lonely hearts ad. Oh well.)
Any opinions expressed in this blog are my own, I don't claim to speak for anyone else in education or outside of it. If you disagree, feel free to comment!
