Procrastination Posted by: Lois Lindemann on: September 13th, 2008 Posted in: Uncategorized Tags for this post: Links. I have an enormous list sitting beside me. At the top it says Things To Do This Weekend. Actually, it’s got enough tasks to keep me busy until next weekend. Most of them are Very Important and Urgent.
Just in case I am tempted to stop working on all these Very Important Tasks, I have added a helpful subheading: Stop mucking about on the Internet and get on with this stuff!
So naturally, I’m spending ages playing about with one of these:
Will Power? Never met him.

The real three-legged cat
Welcome! Hi, I'm Lois Lindemann. Welcome to my blog!
This is where I blither on about life, the universe and everything - sometimes even three-legged cats.
I am: a resident of Sheffield (it's been my home town for more than 20 years), a Londoner, a teacher of maths and ICT and a student of French.
I like: cats, Sheffield, walking, doing the pub quiz, maths, cooking, reading, red wine, theatre, weekends in London, cycling, eating out, museums, gardening, going to the cinema, real ale, learning French and spending far too much time online. (My partner, Mr TLC, says this is making me sound like a lonely hearts ad. Oh well.)
Any opinions expressed in this blog are my own, I don't claim to speak for anyone else in education or outside of it. If you disagree, feel free to comment!

Hi! I arrived via Black Boxes, and I’m hooked, too.
The black box game randomly took me to some weird French/Italian blog. I hope they don’t track me down…
I was taken to a site where I have left a lengthy comment. She probably thinks I’m barking – but who knows? Maybe we’ll like each other.
I’m not here via the widget! (although I have been widgeting)
My To-Do list is also suffering because of it, nice to know that it’s not just me.
Of course now we’ve all discovered the black box, no important tasks will ever get done again. It will be interesting to see if it makes any difference to anything!
The Black Box brought me here too, and I love the photo of the three legged cat: he/she looks very happy!
What trickery is this black boxery designed to stop all other tasks? I’m hooked too.
Black-boxed to here and so glad I did. Really enjoyed it.
Hello! I chose ‘scrambled’ over ‘poached’ and the Black Box brought me here
)
I’m assuming I got sent here because I said I preferred cats over dogs!
False advertising, I call it!
Lots of fun … but you’re right: far too effective a way of wasting time!
I chose diamonds over pearls and the black box sent me here. Greetings from a fellow teacher x
