Adrian Sudbury is dying, but is so full of passion for life.
You may have seen him on the news last week, wearing his trademark beanie hat. He is campaigning to ensure that all young people in the UK learn about what is involved in donating blood and bone marrow and also about organ donation. There is an online petition asking for this to be included in the school curriculum.
He is only asking for one information session to be provided for students of sixth-form age. Apparently this already happens in Germany, where a high proportion of people go on to agree to donate.
I think this a great idea: simple, practical, effective. So I signed up. Have you?
Hi,
Just came across your blog and wanted to say thanks for the shout out.
Really appreciate it!
Best wishes,
Adrian (Baldy)
